Rest* JANUARY 2020: Started Yoga Immersion and collaboration with Satya Yoga Coop, Chinook Fund, TLC Colorado, Guided By Humanity, and worked with CU Boulder, Black Actor’s Guild, Crown Institute+ APRIL 2020: Cancelled 9 of 10 cities on the Yin Yang Compassion + Discipline workshop tour that Nadia, Samira and I worked on with various hosts and sound healers in the US, Canada and South Africa☯️ due to COVID. Cathartic art-making in collaborations with folks like Thrive Choir, Ellie Lotan, Katja Lavinia, Kalonji, Calid B, Bekah Olstad JUNE 2020: developed resources, workshops, curriculum for virtual learning, gathering and practicing in mindful compassion. Expanded our soul community through the art and offerings AUGUST 2020: Victoria Acuña joined the team! Abundance Mentality Coloring Book was birthed! 💐 Continued 1:1, group and organizational offerings for compassion, decolonizing creativity, boundaries, grief and resilience, affirmational art, and archetypes like the inner child, teen, nurturer, critic+ JUNE 2021: launched the Creation for Liberation Podcast with the spirit of learning and experimentation during deep transition SEPTEMBER 2021: relocated to Berkeley, CA ⭕️ for community, started a Tiny House artist in residency with Shilpa and Austin Rest* MAY 2022: launched FREEDOM CIRCLE, a long-time dream of free movement in energetics activism🌀 at Interplay, Oakland JUNE 2022: Zulaika Zulkephli joined the team! *The sustainability of MOSAICEYE has been in part due to periods of REST and intentional EMPTINESS for extended periods of time from a week to 3 months; time to minimize offerings and content-production, and invest in creating for myself, going inward, playing for the sake of play, moving slowly and in closer alignment with seasonal and organic cycles. This rest is both a privilege and a necessary responsibility for the generativity and abundance of my and our work.
