Let’s reclaim the practice of discipline as self-empowering versus self-punishing. We'll take time to reflect on the first half of the year, clarify intentions worth committing to for the rest of the year, create a tangible and scientifically-effective tool to track and uphold commitments with the help of accountability in community, and practice embodying and posturing our most disciplined selves

The workshop agenda is:

  • Introductions and intentions of this workshop

  • Check-ins in circle

  • Education on empowered discipline, motivation and self-care

  • Visualization meditations to clarify your intentions

  • Expressive writing on commitment clarification

  • Craft your discipline charts

  • Embodiment exercise to posture our most disciplined selves

  • Closing

Facilitated by Chetna Mehta, a mixed media artist and creative wellness consultant passionate about the power and healing of creative expression. She has a Master's in Counseling Psychology from the Wright Institute in Berkeley and has facilitated creative workshops in academic-based contexts with adolescents and young adults, and with multi-generational and multicultural adults in intimate retreat and studio settings.
