(Online): Illuminating Your Authentic Beauty & Body Wisdom

These personal and group consultations are intended to explore your unique inner and outer beauty, to learn essential skills in critical awareness, to express the beauty of your inner child, to recognize and leverage your body wisdom, to process shame in a safe, non-judgemental environment, to utilize creative tools to redefine your beauty and deepen into the gorgeously divine energy in you.

Join this series if you are a self-identified women who desires to:

  • Practice seeing and allowing your beauty, however it is

  • Leverage healthy critical awareness to re-shape your ideals of beauty

  • Re-frame any demeaning perspectives on your changing and aging body

  • Explore shame around beauty and body image in a safe and kind space

  • Improve self-love and unconditional positive regard

  • Notice judgment and negative self-talk, tangibly practice releasing it

  • Recognize your own ideals of beauty beside systemic and internalized ideals

  • Expand awareness of your body and the messages it offers you


Some of the modalities we’ll leverage include:

  • Expressive arts (expressive drawing, writing and movement)

  • Inspirational literature study

  • Ceremony and ritual

  • Guided meditations centered on inner and outer beauty

  • Mindfulness practice

  • Affirmation practice

  • Cognitive-behavioral therapy

  • Group and individual consultations


Why participate and what will you receive?


Below is a summary of our monthly themes; we’ll spend 30 days anchoring into each theme, noticing how it comes up in our daily lives, checking in and reflecting on them.

Month 1: Recognizing & Redefining Beauty

We’ll unpack some systemic and inherited ideals of “beauty”, we’ll redefine beauty for ourselves based on what’s true, authentic and kind. We’ll practice critical awareness in understanding what influences us and our ideas of beauty, why we buy into it, who it benefits and how it’s serving or harming us.

We’ll explore the following questions throughout the month within our personal and group meetings, observations and homeplay projects:

  • What does inner and outer beauty mean to me?

  • What makes me feel beautiful? What doesn’t make me feel beautiful?

  • What triggers my insecurities around beauty?

We’ll mine an empowering self-narrative around our own capacity to feel and exude beauty.

Month 2: Cultivating Body Wisdom

We’ll invest this month into learning new and forgotten aspects of our bodies and senses, we’ll listen to the important feedback our bodies are telling us for our health and wellness.

We’ll practice awakening our senses with mindfulness, and become more attuned to what our bodies love and what gives us pleasure and joy.

This month of the program will provide hands-on exercise in rediscovering our own bodies as our greatest muses and vessels.


Month 3: Sharing our Beauty & Wisdom with our World

We’ll create an expression and homage of our beauty to share with our loved ones tangibly.

We’ll create and plant reminders for ourselves where we need it that affirm and inspire beauty in us. We’ll incorporate an accountability plan to maintain clean and kind ideals of beauty for our selves and our communities.

Walking away, we’ll have an evolved, open-hearted and more generous relationship with ourselves as beings in bodies reflecting beauty and wisdom.


Where & when?

We’ll gather online using Zoom Video Conferencing; a strong internet connection is required. A private space during sessions is ideal.

This series will go from Tuesday, March 5th to Friday, May 24th, 2019

Over three months, we’ll gather for nine hours, alternating group and individual consultations so that you can share your experience and learn from others, and deepen into your personal reflections and process.

Pre-scheduled group consultations are:

Tuesday, March 5th from 6:30pm - 8:30pm CST
Tuesday, April 9th from 6:30pm - 8:30pm CST
Tuesday, May 7th from 6:30pm - 8:30pm CST

One-hour Individual consultations with Chetna are scheduled after each group session per your availability during the weeks of:

March 18th - 22th
April 22nd - 26th
May 20th - 24th

i woke up like this <3

I apply my world view as a human and woman, my education and training in counseling psychology, leadership development and multicultural studies, as well as my experience as an influencer and model in the commercial fashion industry for the last 15 years. As with you perhaps, I too have challenges and shadows around my “beauty.” I feel insecure and scarce at times; in need to retreat or hide. At the same time, I’ve cultivated a resilient skin and a deeper faith in my beauty and wisdom in order to sustain myself and keep showing up powerfully in an industry that harps on the smallest of flaws. I’ve also benefited gorgeously from spaces like these to release shames that don’t serve me or highlight what I do have.

So I’m passionate about creating similar spaces to deconstruct, unpack and rebuild the narratives around beauty, to explore and truly see ourselves, and to air out sh*t that breeds shame which we don’t need to carry. There’s so much to learn and practice around considering ourselves with unconditional love, of being kind to ourselves, of allowing, illuminating and appreciating our beauty, and the beauty around us.

These personal and group consultations are intended to help explore your abundant capacity to live in creativity, to move through blocks with faith and confidence, and to deepen into the infinite inspiration available to you.

We’ll gather online, connecting from near and far,
to leverage tools of expressive arts, mindfulness and meditation, cognitive-behavior therapy, ritual, affirmation, community and connection.


Who is this series for?

  • You’re wanting to discover and rediscover your creative talents

  • You feel creatively blocked or uninspired

  • You’re yearning to deepen into spontaneity, trust and free expression

  • You’ve felt like you’re not creative enough, yet there’s a part of you that refuses to believe it

  • You seek confidence in your ability to vision and create

  • You have creative ideas that you want to manifest but feel stuck and need some support

  • You want to share your gifts and creations with others


Some of the modalities leveraged in this series include:

  • Expressive arts (expressive drawing, writing and embodiment)

  • Inspirational literature study

  • Ceremony and ritual

  • Meditation and mindfulness

  • Affirmation

We’ll invest this month into learning new or forgotten aspects of our bodies and senses that give us inspiring feedback; anchoring neurologically and physically into the sensory experiences of our creative bodies and our sensuality.

We’ll connect and consult with our inner child, who has an awake sense of what our bodies love and what gives us pleasure and joy.

This month of the program will provide opportunity and hands-on exercise in rediscovering our own bodies as our greatest muses!

Month 3: Bringing Forth Creation & Change

We'll spend the final month reflecting on the purposes we want to infuse our creations with, from self-care to social change.

We’ll deepen our self-generated affirmations for inspiration; creating and planting reminders for ourselves where we need it.

Most importantly, we’ll incorporate an accountability plan for ourselves with the help of our communities from this program and within our lives.

Walking away, we’ll have an evolved, open-hearted and generous relationship with ourselves as a creative being.


Where & when?

We’ll gather online using Zoom Video Conferencing; a strong internet connection and a private place for the duration of sessions are required.

This series will go from Thursday, April 11th to the week of June 21st

Over three months, we’ll gather for nine hours across three 2-hour group sessions, and three 1-hour individual sessions.

We’ll alternate group and individual consultations so that you can share your experience and learn from others, and deepen into your personal reflections and process.

Pre-scheduled group consultations are:

Thursday, April 11th, 6:30pm - 8:30pm CST
Thursday, May 9th, 6:30pm - 8:30pm CST
Thursday, June 6th, 6:30pm - 8:30pm CST

One-hour Individual consultations with Chetna are scheduled after each group session per your availability during the weeks of:
